Stimulus Funds - EPA State Clean Diesel Funds Awarded
The South Dakota Clean Diesel Grant Program was awarded approximately $1.7 million under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The program provides funds to help school districts purchase new public school buses to replace old, high-emitting public school buses. The South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources administers the program in South Dakota. Awards per school district for a replacement bus are at least 25% of replacement cost.
