It is your responsibility to ensure that the company you select is operating in a proper and legal manner. Keep in mind that you have the option of hiring a company that is not listed on this page.
If you need to dispose of used oil generated when you changed the oil in your personal vehicle, view the department's list of businesses that accept recyclables for a location near you, please call ahead. You can also contact your local service station, auto parts store, car dealership, implement dealership, etc. and ask if they accept do-it-yourself volumes of used motor oil.
