Required Recordkeeping
Every Wastewater Treatment Facility that has a Surface Water Discharge permit must keep the following required information on site, for a period of at least 3 years:

Calibration records for the pH meter (or any other instrument used at the facility that requires calibration – i.e. lift station pumps);

Copies of sample results for discharges, bypasses, and unauthorized releases;

Copies of Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) (not applicable to No-Discharge facilities);

Copies of any information used to complete the Surface Water Discharge permit application; and
-
The Surface Water Discharge permit.
